This scope is suitable for injection working unit of injection workshop .

  Plastic Pail Mould operation key points:mold transport,mold assembly ,connection of mold cooling water hose ,confirmation for oil hose and limit switch connection,molding job, processing the flash for overfilling ,usage of regrinded materials ,inspection points for finished mold.the maitenance of mold .

  Eyebolt selection

  1,Confirm the specifications of the eyebolt. Check the eyebolt hole :metric or the British ,Choose matching eyebolt before installation.

  2, Check eyebolt for its breakage, cracking, deformation .

  3,Confirm the wire rope to be free of rust,no obvious deformation,no broken wire.Check the lock plate for A and B plates. The lock plate should be used under the mold transport.

  Confirmation of the oil hose and limit switch connection

  1.Check the oil hose for the possible leakage.

  2.Check the opening and closing of the mold for unusual sounds.

  3.Check the limit switch installing and wires.

  4.Confirm when mold ejection plate normally move, the limit switch completely response.

  Injection molding

  1.Before the injection molding begins, the mold should be heated up firstly.

  The security door should be shut off. After the security door is closed, the operator shouldn’t go into the inside of the injection machine.

  2.the mold shouldn’t be fully filled at the first shot, and it should be operated like this way 3-4 times before the final full filling.

  3.Do not apply the the inappropriate clamping force (below the minimum requirement)

  4.Do not apply the the inappropriate injection pressure (below the minimum requirement). Be cautious of excessive filling.

  The handling of excessive filling

  1.Overfilling plastic or plastic inside slider’ slot need to be completely removed immediately. Overfilling plastic should be removed completely when space of the slider center, spring, the head of the screw and bushing are filled with them.

  2.After the plastics scrape is removed, the check for the normal operation should be done. The next injection molding cycle should never be done until they are cleaned completely.

  3.The tools removing the overfilling and plastics sticked should be prohibited from the harder metal ones, like crowbar, wrench, hammer, screwdriver.The tools contacting directly with surface of the cavity and core should be made of copper, aluminum.

  Regrind material:

  Each shift should check the hopper magnet for little metal scrapes to avoid possible damage to the barrel screw and hot runner.

  Check points for the plastic mold

  1, parting surface.Regularly clean and keep no foreign body on that.the burr and scrape on the surface should be removed immediatly otherwise they will bruise and damage the mold surface

  2, The guide pins the guide bushing.The guide pins the guide bushing should be cleaned regularly,and remove the used lubricate on that. Guide pin with abnormal wear of the surface should be fixed in the tooling shop.After check and fixing,they should be lubricated again.

  3 slots on the core ,cavity and sliders.Slots on the core ,cavity and sliders should be cleaned regularly and checked for the abnormal wear and rust.

  4, cooling water.Check the cooling pipes for unnormal bend to prevent clogging.Check water plug for leakage,gasket damage and plug wear and deformation will result in the cooling water leakage ,they should be inspected regularly.

  5, hydraulic cylinder.Check the hydraulic cylinder on the mold for oil leakage,and confirm the stable movement of the sliders activated by the cylinder.

  The maitenance of the plastic mold

  1,After molding, mold should be transported to the tooling sorkshop timely to clean the water inside the cooling channel with blowing of compressed air and lubricate for the rust.The water remained inside the channle should lead to the rust in the channel and then clog the it,which could result in poor cooling.

  2,Hot runner mold.After the hotrunner system power are shut off,it need at least another 15 minutes for the circulation of the cooling water working,otherwise, Failure to do so will result in adverse consequences of the “O” ring damage and leak in the cavity.

  3,After molding,the suface of cavity and core should be sprayed with the anti-rust agent if the mold could be stored for a long time.

  4,After the mold is released from the injection machine,it should be locked by the lock plates

  5,The mold should be place in the circumstance free of the water and moisture.

  6,Mold should not be placed directly on ground such as concrete.

  7,Components and cooling hose on the bottom side of 18L Pail Mould should not touch the ground.

  8,Put the mold on the ground same direction as it in the injection machin.
